Established in 1939, the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) is the voice of Luxembourg’s banking sector. We provide our members with a platform to discuss key industry issues and to define common strategies for the entire Luxembourg financial sector.

In 2001 we opened up membership to professions other than banks. Our members now include consultants, lawyers, accountants as well as other financial sector professionals and financial professions. The ABBL is thus truly representative of the diversity of the Luxembourg financial centre.

The ABBL is represented in over 50 different national and international bodies and committees, including the Senior Committee of the Financial Centre, the Economic and Social Council, the Luxembourg regulator CSSF, the Luxembourg Central Bank, Luxembourg Social security institutions, the European Banking Federation and the European Payments Council.
